How to create geofence notifications
Before you begin to create your new notification, make sure you have created the geofence(s). For more information on creating geofences click here.
1-Under the Notifications tab, click New
2-Select unit the notification will apply to (for all/grouped units, select the unit group)
3-Select Geofence as the notification type
4-Select
the unit position for triggering the notification (inside or outside). Find the geofence(s)
you created by name and move them over to the right-side as pictured in the screenshot.
These are the geofences that will be applied to the notification.
You need to create another geofence notification if you want both entry/exit
notifications.
5-Select if you want
to get notified via email/SMS or both.
Please make sure
‘Register event for unit’ is selected so the notification is tracked on
the platform.
6-Adjust
the notification text if needed.
7-Name
the notification, then click Ok
